What is PLUS Body and intuitive movement?
PLUS Body is a trauma informed approach to using movement to gently promote autonomy, self-exploration and healing.
PLUS Body draws on a variety of movement practices including yoga, primal movement and pilates, among others, these sessions have a strong focus on tuning into your body’s needs and discovering, and respecting, your own boundaries. At times practices may feel joyful, challenging or soothing with the emphasis always being on honouring your needs.

About me
My name is CC Darlington (they/them). I am an intuitive movement specialist with a particular interest in working with LGBTQIA+ folk and people from marginalised communities. Since receiving my basic yoga qualification in 2015, I have expanded my skills and offerings by completing specialist training in:
Trans Affirming Yoga
Eating Disorder Informed Yoga
Trauma Informed Exercise Provision
Race, Ethnicity and Yoga
Size Inclusive Yoga
Intellectual Disability Studies
I work from a weight neutral perspective, recognising that physical and mental health is far more complex and nuanced than a person’s weight, diet or exercise regime. My approach is for each session to be client focused, client paced and, ultimately, client led with our work together always being respectful and accommodating of your body and mind, and their ever-changing needs.
